Hearing Aid Pricing
Most people think hearing aids are very expensive, but they don’t need to be. The majority of hearing aid clinics charge a ‘bundled’ pricing model where the cost of the hearing aids as well as follow-up services in the future are bundled into the total upfront price. This ultimately drives up your initial cost, often making hearing aids prohibitively expensive.
ASH Audiology offers a unique pricing model known as ‘unbundled’ that allows for more affordable and transparent pricing. Therefore, you only pay for what you need as it occurs, whether that be for fitting services, future appointments, repairs, parts, warranties, and more. We believe it’s only fair for you to pay for services and parts that you need and will use. At ASH Audiology, the initial cost of the exact same top-of-the-line hearing aids is much lower and you may save money in the long-run compared to a ‘bundled’ pricing model. We are committed to serving the needs of everyone in our community, and should you prefer the security of a pre-paid service plan, we also offer our annual AuD Hearing Aid VIP Program for worry-free and covered care.
How to Choose Hearing Technology
With so many choices, ads, and providers, it’s hard to know which hearing device or provider will work best for you. ASH Audiology has a few tips to get you started. First, no matter where you go, be sure the provider works with multiple hearing aid brands. Some providers ‘lock’ their hearing aids so you can’t have them serviced in other clinics. ASH Audiology works with all the major manufacturers and never locks our devices. Second, make sure your provider uses ‘Real Ear Measurement’ when fitting or adjusting hearing aids. Research shows this improves patients’ outcomes and is the only way to ensure your hearing prescription is met accurately. ASH Audiology always follows evidence-backed best practices. Third, consider your budget. ASH Audiology provides hearing solutions that fit anyone’s budget, and most patients find they pay less with our unbundled pricing model. And lastly, consider your lifestyle and the different listening environments you encounter on a monthly basis. The higher the technology level, the better the hearing aid will help you hear in more challenging listening situations.
